Scratching The Surface

Hello, my name is Marcelo Casillas. I am a resident of Las Vegas and have been for the past eighteen years until my departure to Reno, Nevada for University. Currently I attend the University of Nevada, Reno where I intend to accomplish medical school with a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience. My current major is Neuroscience & Finance, and I work at the Grand Sierra Resort as a Valet driver. I have very proficient hand eye coordination and motor skills and have always been talented with my hands.  

Digging Deeper

Growing up I was always been passionate about martial arts and disciplinary arts that coincide with it, as I have accomplished a third-degree black belt in Taekwondo through Sixteen years of training. Throughout grade school I was always a very active student athlete, receiving nine Varsity letters as well as maintaining a 4.3 GPA. Throughout Highschool I was also our first chair cello in the chamber orchestra from my freshman year to my senior year. I have always been in a very academic and career-oriented household due to the influence from my parents, thus so molding me into the driven and focused person I am today.
